A Successful Rebrand.
CLIENT OBJECTIVE: ESTABLISH BUSINESS AS A REPUTABLE COUNSELING RESOURCE
DevelopingMe! is a counseling and consulting practice with a focus on supporting biological, psychological, social, and environmental development for young adults, adults, athletes, coaches, and athletic trainers. DevelopingMe! needed an attractive logo and updated website to begin establishing its visual brand in the mental health space.
SOLUTION: NEW LOGO + WEBSITE + BRAND GUIDELINES
The concept of 'becoming' is a common theme that runs deep in DevelopingME's brand message, and the idea of a caterpillar morphing into a butterfly closely aligns with that concept. The new logo highlights a butterfly icon with its wings extended to signify what a client will experience after utilizing DevelopingME's services.
The web design is clean and easy to navigate, with images aligned with sports, youth, and 'easter egg' photos of butterflies to reflect the logo.
RESULT: BRAND EQUITY / AWARENESS
Not only has DevelopingMe! seen an increase in new client signups, the company has begun to establish its authority in the therapy space through various thought-leadership content such as blogs and participation in many webinars and speaking engagements.
Brand Identity Evolution
LOGO REFRESH: This project originally began as a logo refresh. The refreshed logo is more modern with solid, pastel colors. The choice of a thinner, cleaner font aligns with the new style of the refreshed logo.
COMPLETE REBRAND EXPLORATION: After discussing the messaging and tone of the company, the client opted to explore the option of a completely new brand identity. During this process, there were several rounds of iterations.
NEW BRAND IDENTITY: Incorporating the butterfly and the infinity symbol, the idea of the butterfly signifies the evolution one experiences when going through counseling. The infinity symbol represents the infinite amount of time and changes a person experiences throughout their evolution journey.
COLOR PALETTE: Collectively, these colors represent the company's mood.
